COMET MODULE
Xemtec's COMET module can be mounted onto existing gas, electricity, water and heat meters to optically capture register values and transmit them to the suppliers via low-power RF link and/or other communication technologies (e.g. PLC, GSM/GPRS, PSTN, M-BUS). Based on its unique optical-based module, Xemtec offers the most cost effective solution for remote reading of electricity, gas and water meters. There is no need to modify installed meters. The handheld scanner X35 is a high-performance, low-cost input device for the reading of alpha-numeric characters, 1-D and 2-D barcodes.
