XEMICS combines its core technologies - 8-bit MCU, sensor interfacing / data acquisition, LF to UHF RF transceivers, audio Codecs, GPS, and Bluetooth™ with low-power, to provide core technology benefits - wireless connectivity silicon solutions for autonomous battery operated and/or power sensitive terminal equipment. XEMICS' products connect people and the physical world to the networks - the Internet, the phone and other networks. XEMICS' products provide functionality in the areas of sensing, local processing and communication. In other words, they deliver sounds/voice, pressure, temperature, acceleration, time, position, speed, or other type of sensor data through a short-range wireless link, and in the other direction they deliver data/commands to the sensors and actuators.
XEMICS products can be used in portable products for "wirelessly connected" people, and in "wirelessly connected" homes and buildings, including hospitals and factories. XEMICS delivers system-level, application-optimized solutions. That's complete electronics and software, which reduces OEM's complexity and time to market. XEMICS focuses on highly integrated cost optimized devices and providing excellence in support to customers.
The key benefits of all product lines are low operating power consumption, operating power supply compatible with battery supply, high integration and high performance. The combination of these products provides the complete sensor interface, local processing and wireless communication solution. Beyond these "generic" benefits, each line has unique functions. The XE1200 series are low cost single chips and come with a bit synchronizer that simplifies the software design on the MCU side. The XE1400 series incorporates an ultra low power Bluetooth™ baseband controller. The XE1610 has a unique architecture that reduces overall costs and that can be used for server-aided receivers. The XE3000 series provides excellent cost efficient audio performances. The XE8000 series with ZoomingADC provide the lowest cost most versatile sensing solutions.
